Blum Reassigned To Iowa

The Minnesota Wild has reassigned defenseman Jonathon Blum to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Blum skated in four games with Minnesota after being recalled from Iowa on Dec. 30 and averaged 12:13 in time on ice per game. The 6-foot-1, 188-pound native of Long Beach, Calif., has recorded 22 points (7-15=22) and 20 penalty minutes (PIM) in 95 career NHL games with Nashville and Minnesota. The 24-year-old has tallied 17 points (4-13=17) in 31 games with Iowa this season.
