Once again, it's MOvember and the Minnesota Wild today announced that its company-wide MOvember campaign will again be presented by Sun Country Airlines.
Because of the lack of a collective bargaining agreement that has put the NHL season on hold, Yeo is calling on fans to join the Wild Mo Bros team.
Here is what Wild Head Coach Mike Yeo has to say about MOvember:
Ok, Wild fans. Does anyone think they can grow a better Mo than me? I am challenging the State of Hockey and beyond to a cookie duster (moustache) contest.
Creativity, style and growth or lack of growth is cheered, but the real key will be fundraising for the Wild Mo Bros team. Mo Bros and Mo Sistas alike are encouraged to join our fundraising team – we need everyone’s help to fight cancer! For your efforts, you’ll have a chance to be rewarded handsomely - just like my 'stache.
You’ll see an update from me every Friday!
Please note that in order to qualify for the following prizes, you MUST JOIN as part of the Minnesota Wild Mo Bros Team by registering, here.
• All Wild Mo Bros team members that raise a minimum of $25 receive a Mike Yeo autographed 5x7 photo
• All Wild Mo Bros team members that raise a minimum of $100 receive a Mike Yeo autographed puck and 5x7
• All Wild Mo Bros team members that raise a minimum of $250 receive a Wild Prize Pack to include Mike Yeo autographed puck, 5x7, Wild baseball hat, Wild Duffle bag and more
• All Wild Mo Bros team members that raise a minimum of $1,000 will enjoy lunch with Coach Yeo at Tom Reid’s Hockey City Pub.
Females, affectionately named “Mo Sistas”, also play an important role in Movember by helping spread the word to friends and family and encouraging them to join the Minnesota Wild Mo Bros team or donate to our moustache growing efforts.
Several Wild employees have already joined the cause and their MOprogress will be highlighted in a weekly photo gallery on Wild.com along with Wild Mo Bros team captain Yeo. MOvember is an annual charity event held during November that engages men to grow Mo’s (slang for moustache) to raise awareness and funds for cancers affecting men. A 501(c)3 non-profit, MOvember benefits the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG.
