“We are very excited about today’s news that a tentative agreement is in place,” said Matt Majka, Minnesota Wild Chief Operating Officer. “Like our fans, we look forward to the final approval of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement and seeing our team back on the ice. Further information will be provided as soon as we receive it from the NHL.”
Early Sunday morning, the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association reached agreement on the framework of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. The CBA will go through a ratification process with both the League and Players' Association approving the terms.
Once the CBA is ratified, the Wild expects to have more details on the season schedule and ticket on-sales.
