Position Summary:
The Sports Art Coordinator will play a significant role in the creative development and production of MSE sports publications and graphic needs, along with assisting in all other areas of the Creative Services department.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist in creative production of MSE (Minnesota Wild & Minnesota Swarm) sports projects including team publications, ticket/corporate sales collateral and marketing materials

Provide design and layout support for Wild/Swarm team publications including media guide, game program and yearbook
-
Produce story ideas and creative concepts for use in MSE sports teams publications
-
Generate written content (both factual & creative feature) for MSE sports teams publications
-
Handle photo requests for in-house and out-of-house photo requests

Assist in setting up photo shoots with players and staff members
-
Build relationships with and support MSE staff in a service-oriented approach to ensure success and timely production of assigned projects

Provide ideas for various Creative Services projects and assist in both brand and graphic development of MSE sports teams

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
-
Graphic Design Degree with experience in both writing/layout and graphic support

1-3 years experience in fields listed above, in addition to strong working knowledge of Quark, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator on a MAC platform
-
A strong passion and understand for sports and a desire to work in the demanding professional sports environment

A background in sports writing and interviewing athletes for stories in a professional manner

Should be able to work on deadlines and with others to acquire necessary materials for projects

Consistently models key MSE behavior characteristics
