Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for accurate and timely accounts receivable and cash management duties, across MSE accounts.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
-
Prepare and issue invoices for all operating departments for each month and on an as-needed basis

Analyze the accounts receivable aging report and take needed action on past due accounts
-
Make collection call and/or forward aging reports to all necessary departments for their collection assistance
-
Receive, match invoices with and deposits checks related to invoices
-
Apply cash receipts timely and accurately in the Lawson accounting system
-
Responsible for disbursing department mail on daily basis
-
Perform other tasks, projects and duties as assigned
Banking and Cash Administration
-
Make bank deposits daily or as needed
-
Run the daily bank reports and update the treasury report information in a timely manner
-
Maintain accurate records of all bank account activities
-
Initiate wire transfer, account book transfer and ACH requests as necessary
-
Run archtics reports as required to assist accurate accounting entries
-
Process cash orders and transfers including per diem requests for team travel

Reconcile and disburse petty cash

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:

Prioritizes and satisfies diverse, multiple, time-critical demands

Minimum 2-4 years accounting experience, College degree preferred

Consistently models key MSE behavioral characteristics
