I saw Jacques play against Detroit in the Montreal Forum in March 1972, when I was 5-years-old.
I decided he was my favorite player at that time.
The next time I saw him was in a hotel lobby across from Montreal's new Bell Centre arena in April of 2000, when my first official duty with the Wild was to sign Jacques to a contract.
