Marc Crawford Postgame Quotes

Friday, October 14, 2005 versus Minnesota

Was this the work ethic you were looking for:

"Yeah, the way the game worked out it ended up probably being in the long run big picture beneficial for us.  It wasn't easy for us.  Even though we hustled.  Even though we had a very strong work ethic throughout the entire game, it took us until the very end to put the game out of reach.  Sometimes you'll have games were everything goes your way.  Other times it's going to be a struggle.  The lesson for us is that we've got to keep learning.  We have to play the same way whether we're pushing or protecting.  The guys did a pretty good job at keeping their composure.  We didn't play flawlessly, but we made less mistakes than we have."

Markus Naslund

Talk about how important it was to jump out to a good start:

"I thought we put some pressure on them.  We cycled the puck, and had a lot of quality chances I think.  Roloson (Dwayne) played great again.  If it wasn't for him we would have had a decent lead after two periods.  I think we played a strong team game tonight.  We had four lines contributing."
