Westrum Reassigned To Houston

Minnesota Wild President and General Manager Doug Risebrough today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned center Erik Westrum to the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Houston Aeros.

Westrum, 26 (7/26/79), appeared in eight games with Minnesota this season after being recalled on March 20.  The Minneapolis, Minnesota-native registered two penalty minutes, 10 shots on goal and averaged 11:09 of ice-time.  He has collected two points (1-1=2) in 23 career NHL contests with the Phoenix Coyotes and Minnesota.
