Brent Burns Featured On Latest Wild PONDcast

Wild defenseman Brent Burns, still sweating profusely from his daily workout with team strength and conditioning coach, Kirk Olson, stopped into the Xcel Energy Fishing Lodge on Thursday. The purpose? Well, who wouldn’t want to sit in a radio studio on a beautiful summer day to talk hockey and Wells Fargo Wild Road Tour with in-studio host Kevin Falness? The result is another sparkling version of the Minnesota Wild PONDcast.

Burns is one of six players that will be trekking around the state later this month as part of the Road Tour. He and the most famous redhead to pull on a Wild jersey, Stephane Veilleux are sure to bring some fun to the folks in southern Minnesota beginning on June 26.

Hey, just because he plays two rounds of golf a day in the summer, Falness will be coming with more exclusive features on the Wild PONDcasts this summer, including draft previews with Assistant General Manager/Player Personnel, Tom Thompson and several top prospects.
