Breaking news into the R.S.S. Feed. The Wild trims its training camp roster to 41. The following players were reassigned to the Houston Aeros training camp: Brandon Buck, Brian Kaufman, Morten Madsen, Peter Zingoni, Jon DiSalvatore, Carson McMillan, Jamie Fraser, Maxim Noreau, J.P. Testwuide, Barry Brust. Also, the following players were reassigned to their junior teams: Kristopher Foucault, Tyler Johnson, Matt Hackett and Darcy Kuemper.
The second group is on the ice, including Petr Sykora. Anton Khudobin and Wade Dubielewicz are the goalies for this session.
Danny Irmen just scored two pretty goals. He ripped a wicked wrister high glove side over Dubielewicz, and then on a nice tip in front. Irmen created several chances last night, and is clearly energized that he is here.
Houston Aeros just announced their promotional schedule, which features a Cal Clutterbuck bobblehead doll. I'll have to ask him about that. He told me this morning that my wardrobe isn't that bad, I just need a new pair of shoes (has he been talking to my fiancee'?) Ironically enough, he pointed out, I am wearing roughly the same pair of shoes as Mike Russo from the Star Tribune.

Group 1 hit the ice just a few minutes ago. This group consists of those players who didn't skate in St. Louis last night. Todd Richards led the guys onto the ice, even making fun of the PR guy's haircut on his way by.
We'll have a separate group after this one, including Petr Sykora, who got in town yesterday. The many-time consecutive 20-goal scorer is in camp on a tryout. His stall is next to Cal Clutterbuck's, so he'll be sure to get accustomed to things quickly. Wild TV will have complete Sykora coverage later today.
Sykora, by the way, will wear No. 17 for the preseason (and longer, if he makes the team). Danny Irmen has switched to No. 40. Irmen was No. 14 at earlier Wild camps, but gave that up for Martin Havlat. Fortunately for Danny, not a lot of NHL'ers I can think of that wear No. 40.
Carly the Intern and I went up to the press box this morning and made notes of things that need to be taken care of before the first preseason game Friday. Such as, chairs need to be moved/aligned properly, etc.
I got a new phone yesterday (RIP my original, early 2000's model Blackberry) that has a camera on it. So you'll see lots of pictures of other arenas, etc., on the road this season. Today, I tweeted a picture of the Zamboni getting cleaned in preparation for a new paint job. You can sign up for Wild Twitter feed too!
