Wild Recalls Khudobin
Harding To Receive MRI for "lower body soreness"

The Minnesota Wild have recalled goaltender Anton Khudobin from Houston of the American Hockey League today. The move was made after Wild goaltender Josh Harding left Monday's morning skate with what was termed "lower body soreness."
Harding is expected to receive an MRI on Tuesday and will miss the team's 11:00 AM practice at the Xcel Energy Center. If he is unavailable beyond that, Khudobin will serve as the team's backup.
Khudobin, 23, is 4-2-0 with a 1.77 goals against average (GAA), a .936 save percentage (SV%) and one shutout in six games this season for the Aeros. He helped lead Houston to the Western Conference Finals last season, with an 8-8 postseason mark, along with a 2.70 GAA and a .900 SV%. Khudobin was the ECHL’s Goaltender of the Year and an all-ECHL selection in 2007-08, when he went 20-1-4 with a 1.98 GAA and a .934 SV% for Texas. The 5-foot-11, 176-pound native of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan, was originally selected by Minnesota in the seventh round (206th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Khudobin will wear sweater number 35 with the Wild.
