C David Krejci scored the deciding goal in the shootout, RW Byron Bitz notched a goal in regulation and G Tuukka Rask made 28 saves, as the Boston Bruins edged the Minnesota Wild 2-1 in front of 18,208 at Xcel Energy Center.

C Andrew Ebbett scored a goal in his Minnesota debut and G Niklas Backstrom made 15 saves for Minnesota, which plays its annual day-after-Thanksgiving matinee Friday at 1 p.m. against Colorado.

C Andrew Ebbett, claimed off waivers by Minnesota on Saturday, scored a goal in his Wild debut.

G Niklas Backstrom made 15 saves and is 17-3-4 with a 2.07 GAA and a .925 SV Pct. against the Eastern Conference since the beginning of the 2008-09 season. Backstrom is 3-0-1 with a 1.23 GAA and a .955 SV Pct. all-time versus the Bruins.

C James Sheppard has an assist in back-to-back games – his two-game point streak is a season-high.

D Shane Hnidy played in his 499th career NHL game.

The Wild set a season-best, allowing just 16 shots on goal.

Nine of Minnesota’s 10 home games have been decided by one goal (6-2-1). Each of Minnesota’s last four games overall has been decided by one goal.

Minnesota is 8-1-1 all-time against Boston. The last five meetings between the Wild and Bruins have all been decided by one goal, with the Wild going 3-1-1 in that span.

The Wild is 6-3-1 at Xcel Energy Center this season and is 12-3-5 in its last 20 games at home dating back to Feb.19.

Minnesota is 5-1-3 against the Eastern Conference this season. The Wild went 12-5-1 versus the East in 2008-09.

The Wild is 1-3 in shootouts this season, while Boston is 4-3. Minnesota has connected on 2-for-12 shots in the shootout – 2-for-4 by C Mikko Koivu and 0-for-8 by the rest of the team.

Minnesota is 3-0-1 at home while wearing its green third jerseys this season.
