HOUSTON AEROS (12-11-2-1, 5th in West Division) – The Aeros dropped a regulation and OT contest during a home-and-home series with the San Antonio Rampage last week, falling to fifth in the West Division. Houston lost a three-goal lead in a 6-3 loss to the Rampage Thursday afternoon at Toyota Center. C Chad Rau, RW Jean -Michel Daoust and RW Jon DiSalvatore each scored for the Aeros while G Anton Khudobin allowed four goals on 11 shots in the loss and G Wade Dubielewicz stopped seven of nine shots faced in relief of Khudobin. The Aeros traveled to San Antonio and gained one point in a 3-2 OT loss against the Rampage Friday night. Daoust scored twice and Rau recorded two helpers while Khudobin had 20 saves in the OT loss. The Aeros face the Peoria Rivermen in Houston Friday night before taking on the Rockford IceHogs at home Sunday afternoon.

Canadian Hockey Leagues
D Tyler Cuma - Ottawa (OHL): First round pick (23rd overall) in 2008 Draft has eight points (1-7=8) in 24 games. Was named a co-captain for OHL roster in the 2009 Subway Super Series, and tallied one assist in one Super Series game.
LW Kris Foucault - Calgary (WHL): The fourth round pick (103rd overall) in 2009 Draft now has 10 goals among 15 points in 30 games this season. Scored one goal last week and helped Calgary win all three games in the week.
D Marco Scandella - Val-D'Or (QMJHL): Second round pick (55th overall) in 2008 Draft is averaging better than a point per game with seven goals and 14 assists in 20 games. Was invited to the Canadian World Junior Selection Camp.
C Anthony Hamburg - Omaha (USHL): Seventh round pick (193rd overall) in 2009 Draft, and Colgate University recruit, has two goals and five assists in 19 games with Omaha, which has the best record (18-4-0) in the USHL.
LW Erik Haula - Omaha (USHL): The University of Minnesota recruit and seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 NHL Draft notched four assists in two games last week. He now ranks second in the USHL in points with 12 goals and 23 assists in 19 games.
D Nick Leddy - Minnesota (WCHA): First round pick (16th overall) in last summer's draft returned from a broken jaw last weekend and scored his first collegiate goal in Saturday's 6-2 win over Minnesota State, Mankato.
D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) has one assist in 16 games for the 7-7-4 Irish.
D Kyle Medvec - Vermont (HE): Fourth round pick in 2006 (102nd overall) leads all Vermont defensemen with two goals and is tied for second with four points in 14 games. He is a +3 this season.
Matt Hackett - Plymouth (OHL): The third round draft pick (77th overall) in last year's draft was invited to the Canadian World Junior Selection Camp and went 2-1 last week. He is ranked second in the OHL with a .928 save percentage, third with 15 wins and sixth with a 2.58 goals against average.
Darcy Kuemper - Red Deer (WHL): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in last year's draft was 2-0 in two starts last week to improve his record to 10-13-0. He owns a 3.33 goals against average and a .895 save percentage.
