HOUSTON AEROS (13-12-2-1, 5th in West Division) –
The Aeros split a pair of contests in Houston last week, falling to Peoria Thursday before defeating Rockford Sunday. C Andy Hilbert scored for Houston and G Anton Khudobin made 27 saves, but the Aeros fell to the Peoria Rivermen, 2-1, Thursday. Houston ended a three-game winless streak with a 4-1 victory over the Rockford IceHogs Sunday. RW Jean-Michel Daoust registered a goal and assist, while D Ryan Gunderson tallied two assists and G Wade Dubielewicz made 20 saves to record his fourth win of the season The Aeros have a busy week with four games in six days, starting with an away tilt against the Texas Stars Tuesday. Houston then hosts San Antonio Wednesday and the Stars Friday. The Aeros close the week with a contest against Grand Rapids at home Sunday afternoon.

Canadian Hockey Leagues

D Tyler Cuma - Ottawa (OHL):
First round pick (23rd overall) in 2008 Draft has nine points (1-8=9) in 26 games. Was invited to the Canadian World Junior Selection camp.

LW Kris Foucault - Calgary (WHL): The fourth round pick (103rd overall) in 2009 Draft scored a goal last week to up his total to 11 goals among 16 points in 33 games this season. Calgary owns the best record in the WHL at 25-8-1-1.

D Marco Scandella - Val-D'Or (QMJHL): Second round pick (55th overall) in 2008 Draft is averaging a point per game with seven goals and 15 assists in 22 games. Was invited to the Canadian World Junior Selection Camp.

College/USHL

C Anthony Hamburg - Omaha (USHL): Seventh round pick (193rd overall) in 2009 Draft, and Colgate University recruit picked up two assists last week. He now has two goals and seven assists in 21 games with Omaha, which has the best record (19-4-1) in the USHL.

LW Erik Haula - Omaha (USHL): The University of Minnesota recruit and seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 NHL Draft recorded two assists in two games last week. He now ranks second in the USHL with 37 points on 12 goals and 25 assists in 21 games.

D Nick Leddy - Minnesota (WCHA): First round pick (16th overall) in last summer's draft helped the Gophers to a two-game sweep at Michigan Tech last week. He owns one goal in nine games.

D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) has one assist in 16 games for the 7-7-4 Irish.

D Kyle Medvec - Vermont (HE): Fourth round pick in 2006 (102nd overall) has posted two goals and three assists along with a +3 rating.

Goaltenders

Matt Hackett - Plymouth (OHL):
The third round draft pick (77th overall) in last year's draft was invited to the Canadian World Junior Selection Camp. He helped Plymouth to a 1-0-0-1 record last week and now owns a 16-11-0-1 record in 28 games played. He ranks third in the OHL with a .926 save percentage, third in wins and sixth with a 2.57 goals against average. Was invited to Canada's World Junior Selection Camp.

Darcy Kuemper - Red Deer (WHL): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in last year's draft was 1-0-0-2 last week while improving his goals against average (3.15) and save percentage (.899).
