HOUSTON AEROS (16-13-2-1, T-4th in West Division) – The Aeros had a busy schedule last week but finished the contests with an impressive effort, going 3-1-0 on the week. Houston traveled to Cedar Park Center and defeated the Texas Stars, 5-2, Tuesday. C Chad Rau recorded his first career multi-goal game and RW J-M Daoust added a goal and an assist, while G Wade Dubielewicz stopped 10 of 12 shots to notch his third win in as many starts. The Aeros returned home Wednesday and earned a 2-1 OT victory against San Antonio. D Maxim Noreau scored the GWG with 36 seconds left in the extra session and Dubielewicz
made 26 saves to earn the win. The Aeros once again faced the Texas Stars, this time on home ice, but fell to the Stars, 5-2, Friday night. RW Jon DiSalvatore and D Ryan Gunderson each scored for Houston and G Anton Khudobin made 14 saves in relief of Dubielewicz who made four stops. Houston finished the week with a 5-3 win over Grand Rapids Sunday at home. Noreau scored twice, RW Duncan Milroy added a goal and assist and RW Danny Irmen registered a season-high three assists while Dubielewicz earned the win. The Aeros face San Antonio in Houston Saturday in the team’s only contest this week.

Canadian Hockey Leagues
D Tyler Cuma - Ottawa (OHL): First round pick (23rd overall) in 2008 Draft helped Ottawa to a 2-1 record last week with an assist and a +2 rating. Now has 10 points (1-9=10) in 27 games this season.
LW Kris Foucault - Calgary (WHL): The fourth round pick (103rd overall) in 2009 Draft has 11 goals and five assists for 16 points in 35 games for first-place Calgary.
D Marco Scandella - Val-D'Or (QMJHL): Second round pick (55th overall) in 2008 Draft was selected to represent Canada at the World Junior Championships in Saskatchewan beginning next week.
C Anthony Hamburg - Omaha (USHL): Seventh round pick (193rd overall) in 2009 Draft, and Colgate University recruit picked up two assists in three games last week to total 11 points (2-9=11) in 24 games for the top team in the USHL.
LW Erik Haula - Omaha (USHL): The University of Minnesota recruit and seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 NHL Draft added two more assists in two games last week. He now ranks third in the USHL in scoring with 12 goals and 27 assists in 25 games.
D Nick Leddy - Minnesota (WCHA): First round pick (16th overall) in last summer's draft was off last week for the holiday break. He has one goal in nine games this season.
D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) has one assist in 16 games for the 7-7-4 Irish.
D Kyle Medvec - Vermont (HE): Fourth round pick in 2006 (102nd overall) has posted two goals and four assists along with a +2 rating.
Matt Hackett - Plymouth (OHL): The third round draft pick (77th overall) in last year's draft was 1-1 in two games last week. He ranks third in the OHL with a .927 save percentage, fourth with 17 wins and sixth with a 2.56 goals against average.
Darcy Kuemper - Red Deer (WHL): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in last year's draft was 1-1 last week while improving his goals against average (3.10) and save percentage (.901).
