Mikko Koivu: Koivu did not post a point in Finland's 5-3 comeback win over Slovakia in the bronze medal game. Koivu finished the tournament with four assists in six games, and an even rating. Koivu now owns a silver and a bronze medal in two Olympic appearances.

Antti Miettinen: Antti Miettinen registered four shots on goal in Finland's win over Slovakia to capture the bronze medal. Miettinen finished his first Olympics with one goal in six games.  

Niklas Backstrom: Backstrom did not play in Finland's bronze medal game win over Slovakia. He saw action in two games and was 1-0-0. He earned a shutout in his first and only Olympic start.

Martin Havlat: Havlat was held without a point in the Czech Republic's 2-0 loss to Finland on Wednesday. Havlat's tournament comes to an end with two assists in five games.   

Marek Zidlicky: Zidlicky and the Czechs were shut out by the Finns in Wednesday's quarterfinal. Zidlicky finished the tournament with five assists in five games.
 
Minnesota Connections: Prior Lake's Zach Parise scored the game-tying goal at the end of the third period to send the gold medal game into over time. Parise also scored the game-winning goal and an assist in the win over Finland just two days earlier. Former St. Cloud State Husky Ryan Malone also had two points against Finland, scoring the first goal of the game and adding an assist.
