Mike Yeo\'s Career Highlights
1990-1991 - Began his junior hockey career with the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League.

1993-94 - Played his final season with the Wolves, racking up 66 points in 65 games on 34 goals and 32 assists.

1994-95 - Began his professional hockey career with the Houston Aeros of the International Hockey League, totaling five goals and 12 assists in 63 games.

1997-98 - Enjoyed his best professional season with Houston, scoring 41 points on 20 goals and 21 assists.

1998-99 - Served as Houston's team captain on the way to capturing the Turner Cup Championship.

1999-00 - Played his first season in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, and suffered a career-ending knee injury.

2000-01 - The year following his injury, Yeo was named an assistant coach with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at the age of 26. That year, he helped the club to a Western Conference title.

2004-05 - Helped lead Wilkes-Barre to an AHL record for the best start to a season by boasting a 21-1-2-1 record with 15 straight wins before Yeo was promoted to Pittsburgh. Wilkes-Barre won the Eastern Conference title that year.

2006-07 - Served his first full season in Pittsburgh and helped the club to a 47-point improvement, the fourth-biggest turnaround in NHL history from one year to the next, and earn Pittsburgh's first trip to the playoffs since 2001.

2007-08 - Coached the Penguins to a Stanley Cup Finals playoff appearance - a loss to the Detroit Red Wings.

2008-09 - Helped Pittsburgh to the Stanley Cup title.
