HOUSTON AEROS (4-5-1, T-7th in West Division) – The Aeros went 2-1-0 last week, falling at San Antonio 5-2, then winning back-to-back games against Texas by scores of 3-1 and 4-2. G Anton Khudobin led the way going 2-0, allowing three goals and turning in a .954 SV%. RW Carson McMillan (2-1=3) and D Marco Scandella (1-2=3) each posted three points while D Nate Prosser potted two goals. Overall, Houston is 4-5-1 on the season. C Cody Almond (1-4=5), RW Jean-Michel Daoust (2-3=5), LW Robbie Earl (2-3=5), McMillan (2-3=5) and Scandella (1-4=5) all co-lead the Aeros in scoring with five points. Khudobin ranks 3rd in the AHL with a .939 SV% and 10th with a 1.99 GAA. This week the Aeros host Toronto on Friday then visit Oklahoma City on Saturday.

LW Brett Bulmer - Kelowna (WHL): Second round pick (39th overall) in 2010 Draft has four goals and two assists through 14 games. He ranks tied for second on the team in goals.
D Josh Caron - Kamloops (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing played two games and was a +4 before suffering a broken collar bone that will sideline him until early December.
LW Kris Foucault - Calgary (WHL): The fourth round pick (103rd overall) in 2009 Draft has tallied three goals and five assists in 11 games thus far. He's missed the last two games with a shoulder injury.
D Colton Jobke - Kelowna (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing has three assists through 13 games.
D Bjorn Krupp - Belleville (OHL): The 2009 free agent signing has posted two assists through 12 games, but has missed the last three games with pulled stomach muscles.
RW Dylen McKinlay - Chilliwack (WHL): The seventh round pick (189th overall) in the 2010 NHL Draft has tallied three assists through eight games, but suffered a knee injury on October 15 and has been out since then. He is listed as "week-to-week."
C Anthony Hamburg - Colgate (ECAC): The seventh round pick (193rd overall) in the 2009 Draft has played one game for Colgate in his freshman season.
LW Erik Haula - Minnesota (WCHA): The seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 is coming off a three point weekend, in which he scored a goal and an assist in Friday, and added a helper on Saturday in a sweep of Colorado College. Haula now has 10 points (2-8=10) in eight games and leads the team in assists and +/- (+8).
D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) in 2008 has posted three assists through seven games, which matches his point total from last season. He is a +6 on the year.
D Kyle Medvec - Vermont (HE): Fourth round pick (102nd overall) in 2006 is scoreless through four games this season. The senior is an assistant captain for the Catamounts, who are 0-2-2 through four games.
F Jason Zucker - Denver (WCHA): Second round selection (59th overall) in 2010 Draft three goals in a two-game series with North Dakota last week, including two on Friday night. Zucker is now tied for the team lead in goals with five and is third in points with six.
F Mikael Granlund - HIFK Helsinki (Finland): The first round selection (ninth overall) in 2010 has missed the last five games with an injury suffered on October 14. He had previously socred three goals and eight assists through 12 games.
RW Johan Larsson - Brynas (Sweden): The second round selection (56th overall) in the 2010 Draft has posted one assist through 10 games in Elite Level play. In nine Junior level games, he's posted six goals and nine assists.
F Jere Sallinen - Blues Espoo (Finland): The sixth round selection (163rd overall) in the 2009 Draft has a two goals and five assists through 17 games this season. He is a +5 on the year.
Dennis Endras - Augsberger (Germany): The 2010 free agent signing is 5-6-2 after stopping 30 of 32 shots in his only appearance last week. Has posted a 3.38 goals against average and a .889 save percentage.
Johan Gustafsson - VIK (Sweden): The sixth round pick (159th overall) in the 2010 Draft ranks fifth among League goaltenders with a 2.21 goals against average and a .918 save percentage.
Darcy Kuemper - Red Deer (WHL): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in 2009 was 2-0 and stopped 52 of 55 shots last week and leads all WHL goalies in wins with a 11-4-0 record. He ranks second in the League with a 1.59 goals against average and a .937 save percentage. He was the CHL Goalie of the Week for the period of October 4 through 10.
