HOUSTON AEROS (6-5-1-1, 5th in West Division) – The Aeros were 2-0-0 this past week, claiming a 3-2 SO victory over Toronto on Friday and a 4-2 win in Oklahoma City Saturday Night. In the two wins 11 different players recorded points, with F Jarod Palmer leading the way with three (1-2=3), all of which came against Oklahoma City. G Anton Khudobin was in net for both Houston wins stopping 57 of 61 shots. On the season, RW Jean-Michel Daoust (3-5=8), and D Marco Scandella (1-7=8) co-lead the Aeros with eight points. Khudobin ranks 2nd in the AHL in SV% (.938) and T-4th in GAA (1.97). Houston began this week with a 3-2 SOL Monday night in Abbottsford. They will take on Abbottsford again on Tuesday, before heading to Peoria for a pair of games against the Rivermen on Saturday and Sunday.

Canadian Hockey Leagues
LW Brett Bulmer - Kelowna (WHL): Second round pick (39th overall) in 2010 Draft racked up a goal and four assists in three games last week. He has recorded multiple assists in back-to-back games and now has 11 points (5-6=11) in 17 games this season.
D Josh Caron - Kamloops (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing played two games and was a +4 before suffering a broken collar bone that will sideline him for at least two more weeks.
LW Kris Foucault - Calgary (WHL): The fourth round pick (103rd overall) in 2009 Draft has tallied three goals and five assists in 11 games thus far. He has been out with a shoulder injury and is expected to return in one to two weeks.
D Colton Jobke - Kelowna (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing posted three points (1-2=3) in four games last week. He has now notched a goal and five assists through 17 games this season.
D Bjorn Krupp - Belleville (OHL): The 2009 free agent signing has posted two assists through 13 games, and has returned to the lineup after missing four contests with pulled stomach muscles.
RW Dylen McKinlay - Chilliwack (WHL): The seventh round pick (189th overall) in the 2010 NHL Draft has tallied three assists through eight games, but suffered a knee injury on October 15 and has been out since then. He is listed as "week-to-week."
C Anthony Hamburg - Colgate (ECAC): The seventh round pick (193rd overall) in the 2009 Draft has played two games for Colgate, and is one of just three freshmen to have cracked the lineup. He has yet to record a point.
LW Erik Haula - Minnesota (WCHA): The seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 picked up a team-leading ninth assist on Saturday. With two goals and nine assists in 10 games, he ranks second on the team in scoring. He is tied for fifth in the WCHA in assists.
D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) in 2008 scored his first goal of the season last week and now has four points (1-3=4) in nine games. His point total last year as a sophomore was three (2-1=3).
D Kyle Medvec - Vermont (HE): Fourth round pick (102nd overall) in 2006 picked up his first point of the season last week with an assist. The assistant captain now has one assists in six games.
F Jason Zucker - Denver (WCHA): Second round selection (59th overall) in 2010 Draft posted a three-point weekend with two goals and an assist in two games against Colorado College. He has a goal in four straight games, and is tied for the Denver lead in that category with seven. He is also second among all WCHA freshmen in goals, and tied for fifth overall in the league.
F Mikael Granlund - HIFK Helsinki (Finland): The first round selection (ninth overall) in 2010 has missed the last seven games with an injury suffered on October 14. He had previously socred three goals and eight assists through 12 games.
RW Johan Larsson - Brynas (Sweden): The second round selection (56th overall) in the 2010 Draft skated in three games for Brynas last week and has an assist in 13 Elite Level games.
F Jere Sallinen - Blues Espoo (Finland): The sixth round selection (163rd overall) in the 2009 Draft has a two goals and five assists through 20 games this season. He is a +6 on the year.
Dennis Endras - Augsberger (Germany): The 2010 free agent signing is 7-6-2 after making 56 saves over two starts last week. He owns a 3.46 goals against average and a .887 save percentage.
Johan Gustafsson - VIK (Sweden): The sixth round pick (159th overall) in the 2010 Draft suited up for the Sweden U-20 team in three exhibition games against United States collegiate teams last week. He went 1-2, allowing eight goals with a .915 save percentage against Harvard, Merrimack and U-Mass Amherst.
Darcy Kuemper - Red Deer (WHL): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in 2009 was 1-0-1 last week, improving his record to 12-4-1. He leads the WHL in wins, ranks second with a 1.81 goals against average and third with a .932 save percentage.
