HOUSTON AEROS (10-7-1-2, 4th in West Division) – The Aeros went 3-1-0 this past week, beating Chicago 3-2 on Wednesday, downing Grand Rapids 5-0 on Friday, falling to Chicago 5-2 on Saturday and winning 4-2 Sunday over Texas. C Jarod Palmer (2-2=4) and RW Jon DiSalvatore (1-3=4) led Houston with four points each over the four games while G Anton Khudobin posted a 2-1-0 record with a .929 SV% and one shutout. Overall, Palmer leads the Aeros with 13 points (4-9=13) while Khudobin has team bests in GAA (2.06) and SV% (.933), both good for eighth place in the AHL. This week Houston is in Texas on Wednesday before hosting San Antonio on Friday and Milwaukee on Saturday.

Canadian Hockey Leagues
LW Brett Bulmer - Kelowna (WHL): Second round pick (39th overall) in 2010 Draft notched two goals in a win over Prince George on Friday. He now has 14 points (8-6=14) through 22 games and ranks second on the team in goals.
D Josh Caron - Kamloops (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing played two games and was a +4 before suffering a broken collar bone. He has not played since the injury.
LW Kris Foucault - Calgary (WHL): The fourth round pick (103rd overall) in 2009 Draft scored a goal and added two assists in two games last week. He now ranks sixth on the team in scoring with five goals and seven assists in 16 games.
D Colton Jobke - Kelowna (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing suffered a shoulder injury and is expected to miss one week. He has a goal and five assists through 17 games.
D Bjorn Krupp - Belleville (OHL): The 2009 free agent signing scored his first goal of the season and added two assists in a loss on Wednesday night. He added another assist later in the week to bring his point total to six (1-5=6).
RW Dylen McKinlay - Chilliwack (WHL): The seventh round pick (189th overall) in the 2010 NHL Draft has tallied three assists through eight games, but suffered a knee injury on October 15 and has been out since then. He is listed as "week-to-week."
C Anthony Hamburg - Colgate (ECAC): The seventh round pick (193rd overall) in the 2009 Draft tallied another assist over the weekend against Yale. He has two points (0-2=2) in four games.
LW Erik Haula - Minnesota (WCHA): The seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 added to his team-leading assist total with three helpers in a weekend sweep of Michigan Tech. Haula has now totaled 14 points on two goals and 12 assists through 12 games. He is tied for third in the WCHA in assists.
D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) in 2008 scored a shorthanded game-winner against Michigan State on Saturday night. He has now scored twice, equaling his goal total from his first two years combined at Notre Dame. Through 13 games, he has five points (2-3=5) and is a +5.
D Kyle Medvec - Vermont (HE): Fourth round pick (102nd overall) in 2006 has one assist through eight games.
F Jason Zucker - Denver (WCHA): Second round selection (59th overall) in 2010 Draft scored a goal in each game and added an assist in a Denver sweep of Bemidji State. With nine goals and four assists through 14 games, Zucker leads all WCHA freshmen in goals, and leads the Pioneers in points.
F Mikael Granlund - HIFK Helsinki (Finland): The first round selection (ninth overall) in 2010 has missed the last 11 games with an injury suffered on October 14. He had previously scored three goals and eight assists through 12 games.
RW Johan Larsson - Brynas (Sweden): The second round selection (56th overall) in the 2010 Draft has one assist in 15 Elite Level games. He's played nine games with the Brynas junior team and has six goals and nine assists.
F Jere Sallinen - Blues Espoo (Finland): The sixth round selection (163rd overall) in the 2009 Draft has two goals and five assists through 23 games this season. He is a +6 on the year.
Dennis Endras - Augsberger (Germany): The 2010 free agent signing won his first start since winning the Deutschland Cup with Germany. He is now 8-6-2 in German League play, with a 3.36 GAA and a .891 save percentage. In his last four starts, he is 3-1 with a .908 save percentage.
Johan Gustafsson - VIK (Sweden): The sixth round pick (159th overall) in the 2010 Draft ranks fourth in the VIK with a 2.19 GAA and fifth with a .919 save percentage.
Darcy Kuemper - Red Deer (WHL): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in 2009 improved his record to 15-4-2 after stopping 23 of 25 shots in his only game last week. He leads the WHL in wins, goals against average (1.78) and save percentage (.933).
