Fantasy Pick: Martin Havlat
Thanks to an incredible month of November, Martin Havlat has jumped to the top of the Wild's scoring charts. Havlat picked up two assists in the Wild's last game Saturday and now leads Minnesota with 22 points (5-17=22) in 22 games this season.
Marty has been particularly impressive over his most recent games, totaling 13 points (4-9=13) in his last eight contests, including four multi-point games. He's recorded at least one point in seven of those eight games, and 10 of the 12 games in November (5-11=16).
Even if Havlat's great play over the past month is forgotten, he has another reason to be selected for today's spotlight: he's facing the Flames tonight, the NHL team he seems to love to light up.
Havlat has 21 points (12-9=21) in 21 career games against Calgary. Marty has registered points in seven of his last eight contest versus the Flames (4-5=9), including two-multi-point efforts.
