Postgame Notes vs. Calgary (Dec. 3)
LW Alex Tanguay scored a third-period goal and also tallied a shootout goal, and G Henrik Karlsson made 21 saves, as the Calgary Flames edged the Minnesota Wild 3-2 in front of 17,130 at Xcel Energy Center. RW Pierre-Marc Bouchard scored a goal in the second game of his comeback, RW Martin Havlat had a goal and an assist and G Niklas Backstrom made 30 saves for Minnesota, which plays at Dallas on Saturday.

RW Pierre-Marc Bouchard, skating in his second game since Oct. 3, 2009, after missing 104 straight games, scored his first goal since March 10, 2009. Bouchard had missed 112 of the last 113 games prior to returning to the lineup Tuesday. Bouchard netted his 78th career goal – four behind Wes Walz for fifth place on the team’s all-time list.

RW Martin Havlat notched a goal and a helper to push his point total to 19 (6-13=19) in the last 15 games, and 16 points (5-11=16) in the last 11 games. Havlat has a team-leading 25 points (6-19=25) this season.

D Nick Schultz notched his sixth assist of the season – first since having two Nov. 19 in Detroit. Schultz has eight points (2-6=8) this season.
Calgary LW Alex Tanguay scored a goal and now has 41 points (13-28=41) all-time versus Minnesota – fourth-most by an opposing player against the Wild.

Flames RW Jarome Iginla picked up an assist and has a league-best 57 points (31-26=57) against Minnesota. His 26 assists rank third. Iginla has a point in 35 of the teams’ 57 all-time meetings, with the Flames going 25-6-4 when he has a point. At Xcel Energy Center, Iginla has a point in 19 of the 30 games, with the Flames 11-5-3 when he has a point.

G Niklas Backstrom made 29 saves. Backstrom is 11-23 all-time in shootouts, including seven straight losses.

Minnesota owns a 5-1-3 mark in its past nine home games against the Flames.

The Wild went 0-for-4 on the power play and is 1-for-26 with the man advantage in the last nine games.

Minnesota is 0-3 in shootouts, while Calgary is 2-2

The Wild is 6-3-3 in one-goal games, while Calgary is 4-6-2.
