HOUSTON AEROS (13-10-1-2, 5th in West Division) – The Aeros went 2-1-0-0 this past week, beating Rockford 4-3 in a shootout on Thursday, falling to Rockford 2-1 on Friday, and then winning 4-3 in a shootout at Texas on Saturday. C Cody Almond paced Houston with four points (2-2=4) while G Anton Khudobin posted 25 and 21 saves in his two wins. Overall, RW Jean-Michel Daoust (5-10=15) and C Jarod Palmer (4-11=15) co-lead Houston with 15 points. Khudobin owns team bests in wins (9), goals against average (2.25) and save percentage (.924). This week the Aeros play at Oklahoma City on Tues¬day, vs. San Antonio on Friday, and at Lake Erie on Sunday.

Canadian Hockey Leagues
LW Brett Bulmer - Kelowna (WHL): Second round pick (39th overall) in 2010 Draft picked up at least one point in all three games last week, including a two-goal performance on Friday, bringing his point total to 19 (10-9=19) in 27 games. He ranks third on the team in goals and fifth in assists and points.
D Josh Caron - Kamloops (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing played two games and was a +4 before suffering a broken collar bone. He has not played since the injury and is expected to return in one week.
LW Kris Foucault - Calgary (WHL): The fourth round pick (103rd overall) in the 2009 Draft scored goals in back-to-back games last week and has now moved into a tie for second on Calgary in points with 18 (9-9=18).
D Colton Jobke - Kelowna (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing has returned to the lineup after missing six games with a shoulder injury. He was a +1 in three games last week and has a goal and five assists in 21 games played.
D Bjorn Krupp - Belleville (OHL): The 2009 free agent signing has a goal and six assists through 25 games this season.
RW Dylen McKinlay - Chilliwack (WHL): The seventh round pick (189th overall) in the 2010 NHL Draft returned from a knee injury this week and played all three games. He has three assists in 11 games.
C Anthony Hamburg - Colgate (ECAC): The seventh round pick (193rd overall) in the 2009 Draft returned to the lineup after sitting out the previous two games. He has two assists through five games.
LW Erik Haula - Minnesota (WCHA): The seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 was kept off the scoresheet in back-to-back games for the first time all season last weekend in two games against Minnesota State, Mankato. He leads the Gophers with 12 assists and is tied for second in points with 15.
D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) in 2008 has played 17 games this season and ranks tied for second among Irish defensemen in points with two goals and three assists. He is a +8 on the season.
D Kyle Medvec - Vermont (HE): Fourth round pick (102nd overall) in 2006 has one assist through 12 games.
F Jason Zucker - Denver (WCHA): Second round selection (59th overall) in 2010 Draft was named the WCHA Freshman of the Week after posting three goals and an assist in Denver's 5-4 win over UMD on Friday night. He leads all WCHA freshmen in goals with 12 and ranks tied for sixth in the nation in that category. He has been named to the preliminary roster for the 2011 United States National Junior team.
F Mikael Granlund - HIFK Helsinki (Finland): The first round selection (ninth overall) in 2010 has missed the last 17 games with an injury suffered on October 14. He had previously scored three goals and eight assists through 12 games.
RW Johan Larsson - Brynas (Sweden): The second round selection (56th overall) in the 2010 Draft has two assists in 21Elite Level games. He's played 10 games with the Brynas junior team and has six goals and nine assists. He has been named to Sweden's preliminary roster for the World Junior Championship.
F Jere Sallinen - Blues Espoo (Finland): The sixth round selection (163rd overall) in the 2009 Draft has three goals and six assists through 26 games this season. He is a +6 on the year.
Dennis Endras - Augsberger (Germany): The 2010 free agent signing is 8-10-2 after losing two games last week. He owns a 3.51 goals against average and a .884 save percentage.
Johan Gustafsson - VIK (Sweden): The sixth round pick (159th overall) in the 2010 Draft ranks fourth in the league with a 2.23 goals against average and fifth with a .918 save percentage. He has been named to Sweden's preliminary roster for the World Junior Championship.
Darcy Kuemper - Red Deer (WHL): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in 2009 posted his fifth shutout of the season last week to tie the Red Deer record for most shutouts in a season. He leads the WHL in every major goaltending category including wins (20), goals against average (1.71), save percentage (.937) and shutouts.
