Fantasy Pick: Brent Burns
Saturday night was just the latest on the list of great games Brent Burns has played this season. As the Wild looked to grind out a win in a close game against the Kings, it was Burns who found the back of the net in overtime.
Burns' game winner gave him a franchise-record five career overtime goals. The goal was Burns' eighth of the season, ranking second among all NHL defensemen and tying Cal Clutterbuck for the position of leading goal scorer on the Wild.
Burnsie has four points (2-2=4) in his last five games and 16 points (8-8=16) in 26 games this season. He also leads the Wild with five power-play goals and an average of 24:48 TOI/game.
Tonight's game in Anaheim will also mark Burns' 400th career game in the NHL.
