Fantasy Spotlight: MIN vs. OTT

Fantasy Pick: Martin Havlat

No player on the Wild roster has topped the play of Martin Havlat over the past two months. In fact, Havlat has out-performed nearly every player in the NHL as of late.

Havlat has 18 points (6-12=18) in his last 15 games, including five multi-point contests. He leads the Wild with 27 points (7-20=27) and 84 shots in 29 games.

Not only are Marty's statistics impressive, it is the way he has totaled those points during the season: single-handeldly blazing by multiple opponents before scoring, incredibly skilled passes to set up an easy score and clutch goals. Head Coach Todd Richards talked about Havlat at this morning's skate and mentioned that he has been the best player on the Wild and carried the teams to multiple wins.

Marty recorded an assist in the Wild's last game Sunday and will face his former team when the Wild host the Ottawa Senators tonight.
