HOUSTON AEROS (16-14-1-2, 6th in West Division) – The Aeros finished up a five-game road trip by going 1-3-0-0 this past week. They beat Hamilton 3-1 on Tuesday, lost to Grand Rapids 5-2 on Wednesday, and then were swept by Manitoba 5-3 and 1-0 on Friday and Saturday, respectively. C Cody Almond (3-0=3), RW Jon DiSalvatore (0-3=3), and D Maxim Noreau (0-3=3) co-led Houston with three points each in the four games while G Matt Hackett saw the bulk of the action in net. Hackett posted one win, a 2.83 GAA, and a .900 SV%. Overall, Noreau leads the team with 19 points (7-12=19) in 33 games while G Anton Khudobin holds team bests in wins (11), GAA (2.45), and SV% (.916). Looking ahead, this week Houston hosts Hamilton on Tuesday and Texas on Sunday.

Canadian Hockey Leagues
LW Brett Bulmer - Kelowna (WHL): Second round pick (39th overall) in 2010 Draft registered a four-point game on Friday with a goal and three assists in a 5-1 win. He preceded that performance with a goal two nights earlier. He now has 12 goals and 13 assists through 33 games.
D Josh Caron - Kamloops (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing played two games and was a +4 before suffering a broken collar bone. He is nearing a return and is listed as day-to-day.
LW Kris Foucault - Calgary (WHL): The fourth round pick (103rd overall) in the 2009 Draft had a six-game point streak snapped last week, but is still tied for the team lead in scoring with 23 points (12-11=23) through 29 games.
D Colton Jobke - Kelowna (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing is a +1 through 27 games with one goal and five assists.
D Bjorn Krupp - Belleville (OHL): The 2009 free agent signing has a goal and six assists through 30 games this season.
RW Dylen McKinlay - Chilliwack (WHL): The seventh round pick (189th overall) in the 2010 NHL Draft collected two assists over the weekend to up his point total to six (1-5=6) through 17 games. He missed 16 games earlier in the season with a knee injury.
C Anthony Hamburg - Colgate (ECAC): The seventh round pick (193rd overall) in the 2009 Draft has played seven games and owns three assists in his freshman season.
LW Erik Haula - Minnesota (WCHA): The seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 was off last week, but was named to Finland's roster for the upcoming World Junior Championships. He has three goals and 12 assists through 18 games this season. He leads the Gophers in assists and is tied for third in points.
D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) in 2008 has played 19 games this season and ranks tied for second among Irish defensemen in points with two goals and three assists. He is a +10 on the season for Notre Dame, which is in first place in the CCHA.
D Kyle Medvec - Vermont (HE): Fourth round pick (102nd overall) in 2006 has one assist through 13 games. He missed the last two games with an upper body injury.
F Jason Zucker - Denver (WCHA): Second round selection (59th overall) in 2010 Draft was off last week, but he will be in action this weekend for Team USA at the World Junior Championships. His 14 goals rank first in WCHA play and tied for third in the nation. He has been named the WCHA Freshman of the Week twice this season, and currently leads all WCHA freshmen in goals.
F Mikael Granlund - HIFK Helsinki (Finland): The first round selection (ninth overall) in 2010 has missed the last 20 games with an injury suffered on October 14. He had previously scored three goals and eight assists through 12 games. He was still named to Finland's preliminary roster for the World Junior Championships, but will not play in the tournament.
RW Johan Larsson - Brynas (Sweden): The second round selection (56th overall) in the 2010 Draft has two assists in 24 Elite Level games. He's played 10 games with the Brynas junior team and has six goals and nine assists. He has been named to Sweden's roster for the World Junior Championship.
F Jere Sallinen - Blues Espoo (Finland): The sixth round selection (163rd overall) in the 2009 Draft has three goals and six assists through 29 games this season. He is a +6 on the year.
Dennis Endras - Augsberger (Germany): The 2010 free agent signing is now 10-12-2 with a 3.37 goals against average and a .889 save percentage.
Johan Gustafsson - VIK (Sweden): The sixth round pick (159th overall) in the 2010 Draft owns a 2.36 goals against average and fifth with a .912 save percentage. He has been named to Sweden's roster for the World Junior Championship.
Darcy Kuemper - Red Deer (WHL): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in 2009 won two more games to improve his record to 22-7-2. He continues to lead the WHL in every major goaltending category including wins (22), goals against average (1.94), save percentage (.928) and shutouts (five).
