HOUSTON AEROS (19-17-1-2, T-6th in West Division) – The Aeros went 2-2-0-0 this past week, beating San Antonio twice (2-1, 12/27 and 4-3, 1/1) and falling to Milwaukee (3-2, 12/29) and Rockford (3-1, 12/30). C Cody Almond led the way with five points (2-3=5) while six other skaters posted two-point weeks. G Anton Khudobin recorded one win with a 2.02 GAA and a .932 SV%. G Matt Hackett registered one win with a 2.53 GAA and a .898 SV%. Overall, LW Robbie Earl (10-12=22), RW Jon DiSalvatore (7-15=22), and D Maxim Noreau (7-15=22) co-lead Houston with 22 points each. Khudobin owns team bests in wins (12), goals against average (2.58) and save percentage (.911). This week the Aeros are home to Lake Erie on Friday, play at San Antonio on Saturday and host San Antonio on Sunday.

Canadian Hockey Leagues
LW Brett Bulmer - Kelowna (WHL): Second round pick (39th overall) in 2010 Draft played four games and scored a goal and four assists in the first two games. He ranks third on the Kelowna scoring charts with 13 goals and 17 assists for 30 points in 37 games.
D Josh Caron - Kamloops (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing played two games and was a +4 before suffering a broken collar bone. He is expected to return to action in two weeks.
LW Kris Foucault - Calgary (WHL): The fourth round pick (103rd overall) in the 2009 Draft scored a goal in four games last week and now owns 24 points (13-11=24) in 33 games. He ranks tied for second on the team in scoring and third in goals.
D Colton Jobke - Kelowna (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing is a +1 with seven points (1-6=7) through 31 games.
D Bjorn Krupp - Belleville (OHL): The 2009 free agent signing has a goal and six assists through 33 games this season.
RW Dylen McKinlay - Chilliwack (WHL): The seventh round pick (189th overall) in the 2010 NHL Draft registered a goal and two assists through four games last week to raise his point total to nine (2-7=9) in 21 games.
C Anthony Hamburg - Colgate (ECAC): The seventh round pick (193rd overall) in the 2009 Draft has played seven games and owns three assists in his freshman season.
LW Erik Haula - Minnesota (WCHA): The seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 has posted three goals and two assists through five games with Finland at the World Junior Championships. He is tied for third on the Finland scoring charts and will play his final game of the tournament today against Switzerland in the fifth place game.
D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) in 2008 picked up an assist last week in a 3-3 tie against Boston University. He now owns two goals and four assists through 22 games along with a +12 rating.
D Kyle Medvec - Vermont (HE): Fourth round pick (102nd overall) in 2006 scored his first goal of the season - a game-winner vs. Harvard - and added an assist. He now has a goal and two assists in 15 games played.
F Jason Zucker - Denver (WCHA): Second round selection (59th overall) in 2010 Draft has scored one goal through three games at the World Junior Championships. He missed two games due to injury but returned to the lineup for a 4-1 loss to Canada in the tournament semifinal. Team USA will face Sweden for the bronze medal on Wednesday.
F Mikael Granlund - HIFK Helsinki (Finland): The first round selection (ninth overall) in 2010 returned to the HIFK lineup after missing 21 games due to injury. He notched an assist in his first game back to up his point total to 12 (3-9=12) in 13 games played.
RW Johan Larsson - Brynas (Sweden): The second round selection (56th overall) in the 2010 Draft has a goal and two assists through five games for Sweden at the World Junior Championships. Sweden will face Team USA for the bronze medal on Wednesday afternoon.
F Jere Sallinen - Blues Espoo (Finland): The sixth round selection (163rd overall) in the 2009 Draft has three goals and six assists through 31 games this season. He is a +6 on the year.
Dennis Endras - Augsberger (Germany): The 2010 free agent signing is was 2-0-0 last week to even his record at 13-13-2 to go along with a 3.24 goals against average and a .897 save percentage.
Johan Gustafsson - VIK (Sweden): The sixth round pick (159th overall) in the 2010 Draft is representing Sweden at the World Junior Championships but has yet to play a game.
Darcy Kuemper - Red Deer (WHL): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in 2009 was 2-1-0 last week including his sixth shutout of the season. He continues to lead the WHL in every major goaltending category including wins (24), goals against average (1.99), save percentage (.926) and shutouts (six).
