Fantasy Spotlight: MIN at CGY

Fantasy Pick: Martin Havlat

If there's one thing that's automatic in Wild Fantasy Hockey, it's that you pick Martin Havlat when the Wild play the Flames. Heck, you probably pick him every game with the way he's played this season, but let this serve as a reminder to never overlook the obvious.

Marty has 25 points (14-11=25) in 25 games against Calgary in his NHL career, including five points (3-2=5) against the Flames this season to lead all Wild players. Havlat owns a two-game point streak going into tonight's game, along with totaling nine points (3-6=9) in his last 11 games and 23 points (8-15=23) in his last 26 contests, including six multi-point games.

On the year, he leads Minnesota with 40 points (11-29=40), 29 assists and 138 shots in 46 games. The Wild is 7-1-2 when he scores a goal this year. Havlat is also just two markers shy of reaching the 200-goal milestone in his NHL career.
