Postgame Notes vs. Vancouver - Feb. 15
G Cory Schneider made 28 saves and C Manny Malhotra and C Ryan Kesler tallied a goal and an assist each, leading the Vancouver Canucks past the Minnesota Wild 4-1 in front of a sellout crowd of 18,106 at Xcel Energy Center. RW Cal Clutterbuck scored his team-leading 18th goal and G Niklas Backstrom made 10 saves for Minnesota, which had its four-game home winning streak snapped. The Wild, which plays at Chicago Wednesday on VERSUS, lost despite outshooting Vancouver 29-14.
RW Cal Clutterbuck scored his team-leading 18th goal, including fourth in three games. Clutterbuck, who has his second three-game goal streak this season, has new career-highs this season in goals (18), assists (10) and points (28).

C Kyle Brodziak notched an assist. In the Wild’s 9-3-0 stretch, Brodziak has a team-best 11 points (2-9=11).

RW Martin Havlat skated in his 599th NHL game.

G Niklas Backstrom made 10 saves and fell to 5-3-0 in his last eight starts.

Minnesota had won the last four home meetings by a combined 21-6 score.

Tonight marked the first time in the last eight meetings that the home team didn’t win.

The Wild had its five-game divisional opponent winning streak snapped. Minnesota is 12-5-1 against the Northwest this season.
Minnesota allowed one shot on goal in the third period, just missing the team record of zero.

The Wild allowed 14 shots in the game, one off the team record of 13, set Jan. 18, 2003, against Anaheim.

Canucks C Manny Malhotra scored his first goal in 23 games. Malhotra has scored three of his seven goals this season against the Wild.
