Fantasy Pick: Martin Havlat
Martin Havlat's three-game goal streak may have ended in last night's contest in Los Angeles, but the Kings weren't able to keep the All-Star off the board entirely. Marty registered an assist last night and now has a four-game point streak (3-1=4) going into tonight's game against the Ducks. What has made Havlat's recent performance even more impressive is that he's helped carry the team offensively after the loss of Mikko Koivu to injury, much like he did earlier in the year when the Wild was struggling to score.
Havlat also has a four-game point streak against tonight's opponent, earning four points (2-2=4) in his last four contests against the Ducks. Additionaly, he leads the Wild with three points (2-1=3) against Anaheim this year.
Marty has 14 points (9-5=14) and a +8 rating during the Wild's current 11-5-1 stretch. He leads Minnesota 52 points (19-33=52) in 61 games on the year. He also leads the team in goals (19), shots (182) and game-winning goals (4). Wild fans should always hope for a Havlat goal because the Wild is 13-1-3 on the year when he scores a goal.
