Fantasy Spotlight: Martin Havlat

It's becoming tough to come up with "new" reasons Martin Havlat should be on your Wild Fantasy Hockey roster. Really, the Czech winger has shined in the Fantasy Spotlight probably a quarter of the games this season. He's just been that good.

In a familiar trend this year, Havlat continues to bang on the Fantasy Spotlight door until we can't ignore him any longer. In the Wild's win against Colorado Tuesday, Marty scored the opening goal, his team-leading 21st of the season. He also added an assist on the night and now has points in five straight games (2-5=7) and nine of his last 10 games (5-6=11).

The 29-year-old leads Minnesota with 21 points (11-10=21) during the team's current 14-7-2 stretch. The Wild is 14-2-3 when Havlat scores a goal and 25-13-4 when he has a point. In addition to leading the team in goals, Marty leads the Wild in assists (38), points (59) and is tied for first in game-winning goals (4).
