Fantasy Spotlight: Matt Cullen
While the past two games haven't given the results Minnesota hoped for, the team is still pushing to create some offensive pressure with some of its star players out of the lineup. One of the most noticeable Wild players on the ice in recent games is Matt Cullen, who has been playing with a supreme amount of effort and creating multiple scoring chances.
Going into tonight's matchup in Vancouver, the 34-year-old is looking to keep his hot streak going against the Canucks. Cullen leads the Wild with four points (2-2=4) in four games against Vancouver this season He has also tallied seven points (2-5=7) in his past eight contests against the Canucks.
The Minnesota native is just two points shy of reaching 500 in his NHL career (181-317=498). Cullen leads the team with a 55.6% rating in the faceoff circle this year and is T-2nd in the NHL with four shorthanded goals. He ranks fifth on the Wild with 37 points (12-25=37) in 65 games this season.
