C Antoine Vermette scored with 33.5 seconds left in overtime and LW Steve Nash tallied two goals and two assists, as the Columbus Blue Jackets surrendered a two-goal, third-period lead but held off the Minnesota Wild 5-4 in front of 18,305 at Xcel Energy Center.

RW Antti Miettinen and RW Pierre-Marc Bouchard scored in the final 5:07 of regulation to force overtime for Minnesota, which plays host to Montreal on Sunday at 5 p.m. (note new start time). The Wild is playing back-to-back home games for just the second time in team history. RW Brad Staubitz scored his first goal in 80 games, C John Madden and C Mikko Koivu each registered two assists and RW Cal Clutterbuck scored his 19th goal of the season for Minnesota.

RW Brad Staubitz scored his first goal in 80 games dating back to Feb. 6, 2010, against Nashville, when he played with San Jose. The tally marked the fifth NHL score for Staubitz in 143 games. Staubitz also accrued seven penalty minutes, giving him 146 for the season – sixth-most of any player in team history.

RW Cal Clutterbuck scored his career-high 19th goal of the season – first in 12 games played since Feb. 15 against Vancouver. Clutterbuck scored a goal against Columbus in each of the teams’ four meetings this season.

C John Madden notched two assists for the first time since March 7, 2010, against Vancouver. Madden has 24 points (12-12=24) this season, his most since totaling 43 (20-23=43) in the 2007-08 season.

C Mikko Koivu registered two assists and has four points (1-3=4) in three games since missing 11 games with a broken finger.

D Nick Schultz picked up his 100th NHL assist.

D Marco Scandella left the game with a broken finger.

Columbus LW Steve Nash totaled four points (2-2=4) to become the 18th time an opponent has had four or more points against Minnesota.

Minnesota is 5-3 in overtime, while Columbus is 5-4.

The Wild didn’t allow a power play for the sixth time in team history – first since Dec. 27, 2010, at Columbus.
