Fantasy Spotlight: Martin Havlat
As the Wild's leading goal scorer, it's a safe bet to pencil Martin Havlat into your fantasy hockey lineup, but its an especially wise decision for Saturday's game against Tampa Bay. Havlat tallied three assists against the Lightning when the teams met in November and has 11 points (4-7=11) in his past seven contest against the Bolts. The winger has an impressive 22 points (9-13=22) in 18 career contests against Tampa Bay.
With a goal in Thursday's Wild win, Marty enters Saturday's contest with a point in each of his last two games. The 29-year-old leads the Wild in goals (22) and points (62) and ranks T-1st in assists (40). He has an impressive effect on Minnesota's point total, as well. The Wild is 15-2-3 when Havlat scores a goal and 27-14-4 when he registers a point this season.
