Fantasy Spotlight: Pierre-Marc Bouchard
With each passing game, Pierre-Marc Bouchard's return to the ice this season becomes even more impressive. There were times during Butch's 106-game absence from the game that he could barely even walk around his neighborhood because of debilitating post-concussion symptoms and it led many to ponder if the 26-year-old would ever return to the ice. Thankfully, the Quebec native not only returned to the Wild lineup this season, he impresses more and more with each game he plays.
Bouchard scored his 11th goal of the season in yesterday's contest against Tampa Bay. The marker stretched his point streak to three games (2-1=3). A point in Detroit tonight would match Bouchard's longest point streak of the season (12/3-12/11/10 and 3/2-3/8/11). The Wild is also 8-1-2 when Bouchard scores a goal this year.
Butch reached the 300-point mark in his career during the win against Edmonton earlier this week and now has 34 points (11-23=34) in 55 games this season and 301 points (88-213=301) in 481 career contests.
