Fantasy Spotlight: Andrew Brunette
At 37, Andrew Brunette is the second-oldest guy in the Wild locker room and has played 1,029 career games in the NHL. Thus, the fact that he has scored more points against tonight's opponent than any other NHL team is more than just a small side note.
Bruno's 57 points (19-38=57) in 65 games against the Canucks are more than his total against any other opponent. The winger hasn't slowed down against Vancouver this season, leading the Wild with three goals and one assist in five games against the Canucks.
In a season that has seen him reach numerous career milestones, Brunette is just two helpers shy of reaching the 450-assist mark (255-448=703). He has tallied 43 points (17-26=43) in 79 games this season and is T-1st on the Wild with eight power-play goals. Minnesota is also 11-2-1 when he scores a goal this season.
