HOUSTON AEROS (2-1-1, 5 pts, 3rd in West Division) – Houston went 1-1-1 last week, winning at Texas (5-2), losing in a shootout vs. San Antonio (4-3), and losing at Oklahoma (2-0). David McIntyre led the Aeros with three points, gained off of two goals and an assist. McIntyre (2-0=0), Carson McMillan (0-2=2) and Jed Ortmeyer (1-1=2) each notched two-point games vs. Texas (10/14). Matt Hackett blocked 34 shots against Texas and has compiled a .931 SV% in three games this season. Dennis Endras saw his first start in net, saving 14 of 16 shots at Oklahoma. This week, Houston travels to Charlotte for back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday before facing off at home vs. Grand Rapids on Sunday.

Canadian Hockey Leagues
D Josh Caron - Kamloops (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing has picked up three assists through eight games and leads his team with 33 penalty minutes. He is a +7 on the season.
C Tyler Graovac - Ottawa (OHL): The seventh round pick (191st overall) in the 2011 Draft is averaging a point per game through nine contests. He's scored three goals and added six assists. He is a +5 so far this season.
D Colton Jobke - Regina (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing has one goal and one assist through nine games and leads the team with a +9 rating.
C Zack Phillips - Saint John (QMJHL): The first round pick (28th overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft leads the Sea Dogs in scoring with seven goals and eight assists through nine games. He ranks second on the team with a +10 rating. On Saturday, he posted two goals and an assist and was a +3 in a 4-1 win.
C Charlie Coyle - Boston University (Hockey East): San Jose's first round pick in 2010 (28th overall) has three assists through three games and is a +3 thus far.
C Anthony Hamburg - Omaha (USHL): The seventh round pick (193rd overall) in the 2009 Draft missed two games with an injury but has rejoined the team for practice. He's played two games thus far this season and has not recorded a point.
LW Erik Haula - Minnesota (WCHA): The seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 tallied two goals and an assist as Minnesota swept UMD last weekend. Through four games, Haula leads the Gophers in goals (5) and points (9). He's also a +6.
D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) in 2008 has a goal and two assists through four games this season and is a +2.
LW Mario Lucia - Penticton (BCHL): Second round pick (60th overall) in 2011 Draft has racked up eight goals and 11 assists in just nine games, putting him in a tie for the team lead with 19 points and four power play goals. Currently, he is the only player in the BCHL on a seven-game point streak.
D Nick Seeler - Muskegon (USHL): Fifth round pick (131st overall) in 2011 scored his first goal on Saturday for his first point in four games.
F Jason Zucker - Denver (WCHA): Second round pick (59th overall) in 2010 Draft played his first two regular season games over the weekend against Boston University and Boston College and now leads the team in scoring with a goal and two assists.
D Jonas Brodin - Farjestads BK Karlstad (Sweden): The first round selection (10th overall) in the 2011 Draft has posted one assist through 12 games thus far. He is a +2 on the year.
F Mikael Granlund - HIFK Helsinki (Finland): The first round selection (ninth overall) in 2010 has piled up six goals and 10 assists through 11 games to rank tied for the team lead in points, and first in assists. He posted a hat trick last Wednesday in a 4-3 win over Jokerit.
D Bjorn Krupp - Cologne (Germany): The 2009 free agent signing has picked up a pair of assists through nine games this season.
RW Johan Larsson - Brynas (Sweden): The second round selection (56th overall) in the 2010 Draft has three goals and five assists in 12 games to rank tied for first on the team in scoring and first in assists.
Johan Gustafsson - Lulea HF (Sweden): The sixth round pick (159th overall) in the 2010 Draft has shared goaltending duties and has played six of the team's 12 games. He owns a 1.98 goals against average and a .920 save percentage.
Stephen Michalek - Harvard (ECAC): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in 2011 is with Harvard, which has yet to play a game this season.
