Post-Game Notes vs. Anaheim - Oct. 27
G Jonas Hiller made 23 saves, RW Teemu Selanne posted three assists and RW Corey Perry and C Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and an assist apiece, as the Anaheim Ducks held on to defeat the Minnesota Wild 3-2 at Xcel Energy Center.
 
D Jared Spurgeon and C Matt Cullen each scored a power play goal and G Niklas Backstrom made 13 saves for Minnesota, which plays host to Detroit on Saturday.
 
D Jared Spurgeon scored his fifth goal of his career – first this season. This marked his third career PPG – first since the last game of the 2010-11 season, April 10, against Dallas.
 
C Matt Cullen scored a PPG, giving him a team-leading four goals this season. This marked his first PPG of the season after scoring five in 2010-11. Cullen’s five points (4-1=5) have him tied for the team lead.
 
RW Devin Setoguchi had an assist, giving him a three-game point streak (1-2=3). He is tied for the team lead with five points (3-2=5).
 
Minnesota went 2-for-4 on the power play, and D Jared Spurgeon’s goal snapped an 0-for-20 power play streak. The Wild totaled two PPG for the first time since Opening Night, Oct. 8 versus Columbus.
 
Ducks RW Teemu Selanne notched his 28th career three-assist game – just his fifth since 2001.
 
The Wild had won five straight home games against the Ducks, despite allowing the first goal the last four meetings. Twice, the Wild rallied from two-or-more goals down versus Anaheim.
