Post-Game Notes vs. Vancouver - Nov. 3
LW Guillaume Latendresse and RW Pierre-Marc Bouchard scored 21 seconds apart early in the second period, C Matt Cullen posted two goals and an assist, Bouchard added two helpers and G Josh Harding made 24 saves, as the Minnesota Wild won a third straight game, 5-1 over the defending Western Conference champion Vancouver Canucks at Xcel Energy Center. D Marco Scandella also scored for the Wild, which outshot Vancouver 45-25 plays host to St. Louis on Saturday at 7 p.m.
 
The Wild set a franchise record for most shots on goal in a home game – 45. The old mark was 43, set Jan. 10, 2003, in a 2-1 win over Phoenix. Tonight marked the fourth time that Minnesota has ever topped 40 shots at home.
 
G Josh Harding made 24 saves for his third straight win and to improve to 3-0-1 this season. He sports a 1.47 GAA and a .964 SV%. Harding has won three in a row for the first time since March 12-March 16, 2010. He is 13-5-2 all-time at home as a starter, with a 2.20 GAA and a .927 SV%. Since Jan. 3, 2009, Harding is 6-0-2 at home with a 1.93 GAA and a .941 SV%. He hasn’t lost a home regulation start since Oct. 30, 2008, versus Montreal.
 
C Matt Cullen recorded his ninth career two-goal game and added an assist. Cullen leads the Wild with six goals and is tied for the team lead with eight points (6-2=8).
 
RW Pierre-Marc Bouchard scored his first goal of the season and added two helpers. Bouchard is tied for the team lead with eight points (1-7=8). The Wild is now 10-1-2 last season when Bouchard scored a goal over the past two seasons.
 
LW Guillaume Latendresse scored his second goal of the season – his first point in five games since a goal versus Pittsburgh Oct. 18. Latendresse has 21 games in 42 home games since being acquired. He has nine goals in 35 road games in that time period.
 
D Marco Scandella tallied his second goal of the season – first since Opening Night, Oct. 8 against Columbus.
 
D Nick Schultz notched his first point – an assist – of the season.
 
D Marek Zidlicky finished plus-4, tying a career-high last set March 4, 2008, at Edmonton.
 
The Wild has 22 second-period shots – its most in a single stanza since firing 23 on Edmonton on March 22, 2009.
 
Latendresse and Bouchard scored 21 seconds apart, the two quickest goals by the Wild in a game this season. The Wild netted three goals in a period for the first time in 2011-12.
 
Minnesota has won three in a row for the first time since Feb. 9-12, 2011. The Wild’s last three-game, non-shootout win streak was Jan. 16-Jan. 19, 2011.
 
The Wild snapped an 0-3-1 span against Vancouver. Minnesota is 5-1-0 in the last six home games, outscoring the Canucks 27-11.
 
The Minnesota penalty kill has gone a perfect 12-for-12 in the last three games, including 5-for-5 tonight.
 
The Wild is 4-0-2 when allowing the game’s first goal. The Wild went 8-31-4 last season in such situations.
