Wild Post-Game Notes vs. Colorado Nov. 17
G Niklas Backstrom made 27 saves for his 24th career shutout and RW Devin Setoguchi scored the go-ahead goal with 2:31 remaining, as the Minnesota Wild opened a season-long, six-game homestand with a 1-0 victory over the Colorado Avalanche at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild, which tied its best 19-game start ever with the victory, plays host to St. Louis on Saturday. Minnesota has won three straight overall and four in a row at home.
 
Minnesota is 11-5-3 after 19 games, with its 25 points tied for its most ever in that span. The Wild last reached 25 points in 19 games in 2008.
 
The Wild has won four in a row at home for the first time since Jan. 23-Feb. 6, 2010.
 
G Niklas Backstrom made 27 saves for his 24th career shutout – second this season. He is 18-4-2 with a 2.18 GAA, a .927 SV% and three shutouts in his career against the Avalanche. At home, he is 11-2-1 with a 2.21 GAA and a .920 SV% versus Colorado.
 
RW Devin Setoguchi scored his sixth goal since joining the Wild – second game-winner.
 
RW Dany Heatley assisted on the game-winning goal, moving into the team lead in points with 12 (5-7=12).
 
The Wild is 14-for-14 on the penalty kill in the last four home games – all wins – and has killed off its last 17 shorthanded chances at Xcel Energy Center.
 
The Wild has given up 15 goals in nine home games for a 1.67 GAA, and 37 goals in 19 games overall for a 1.95 GAA.
 
Twelve of the Wild’s 19 games have been decided by one goal. The Wild is 7-2-3 this season in one-goal games. In 2010-11, the team saw 30 games decided by one goal and went 16-6-8 in them.
 
The Wild’s six-game homestand is its longest since playing seven in a row Jan. 5-20, 2007.
 
Minnesota is 0-for-11 on the power play in its last four home games – all wins.
