Wild Post-Game Notes vs. Nashville - Nov. 23
C Kyle Brodziak, LW Dany Heatley and RW Cal Clutterbuck each scored in a three-goal third period and G Josh Harding made 23 saves, as the Minnesota Wild rallied past the Nashville Predators 3-2 at Xcel Energy Center. C Mikko Koivu added two assists for Minnesota, which set a new team record with its ninth November win. The Wild has won five in a row overall and six straight at home. The NHL-leading Wild plays host to Edmonton on Friday at 3 p.m., carrying a 17-game home win streak versus the Oilers into the game.
 
LW Dany Heatley tied the game 1:05 into the third period, his sixth goal of the season. Four of his six goals have been the Wild’s first goal of the game.
 
G Josh Harding made 23 saves to improve to 6-1-1 this season with a 1.82 GAA and a .942 SV%. Harding is 6-0-1 at home this season with a 1.46 GAA and a .951 SV%. All-time in his career at Xcel Energy Center, Harding is 17-7-2 with a 2.03 GAA and a .929 SV%. He is 10-0-1 in his last 11 home decisions and hasn’t lost at Xcel Energy Center as a starter since Oct. 30, 2008.
 
C Kyle Brodziak scored his fifth goal of the season – third in the last seven games.
 
RW Cal Clutterbuck scored his fifth goal of the season – third in the last six games. He netted his second career shorthanded goal and fourth of his career.
 
The Wild is 9-2-0 in November, eclipsing the team record (8-5-0), set in 2008.
 
Minnesota has a pair of five-game winning streaks in a single season for the second time in team history (2006-07).
 
The Wild has played at home the day before Thanksgiving nine of its 11 years, going 2-5-2.
 
Minnesota is 13-1-0 when allowing two goals or less, and 0-4-3 when yielding three or more.
 
The Wild has now won four times when trailing in the third period and is 3-5-0 when trailing after two. Minnesota is an amazing 7-3-0 when trailing after one. The Wild has outscored its opponents 19-12 in the third period.
 
Minnesota has won six in a row at home in the same season for the first time since March 15–April 3, 2008.
 
Fourteen of the Wild’s 21 games have been decided by one goal. The Wild is 9-2-3 this season in one-goal games. In 2010-11, the team saw 30 games decided by one goal and went 16-6-8 in them.
 
Minnesota is 7-0-1 against the Central Division, and 13-3-2 against the Western Conference.
 
The Wild has scored a SHG in back-to-back games for the first time since Nov. 7-Nov. 9, 2009.
 
G Niklas Backstrom missed the game due to personal reasons. The Wild signed 51-year-old print executive Paul Deutsch, who participated in warm-ups, to an amateur tryout. G Matt Hackett arrived from Houston a minute into the game to back up Harding.
