Wild Post-Game Notes vs. Edmonton - Nov. 25
LW Taylor Hall snapped a tie late in the second period and G Nikolai Khabibulin made 30 saves, as the Edmonton Oilers snapped a 17-game Xcel Energy Center losing streak, 5-2 over the Minnesota Wild in front of a sellout crowd of 18,092. RW Devin Setoguchi and RW Pierre-Marc Bouchard each scored and G Josh Harding made 24 saves for Minnesota, which lost at home versus Edmonton for the first time since Jan. 16, 2007. The Wild had its five-game winning streak and six-game home winning streak snapped. Minnesota plays game five of a six-game homestand Sunday at 5 p.m. against Calgary, when the team will pay tribute to Derek Boogaard.

RW Devin Setoguchi scored a 5-on-3 goal, his team-best third PPG of the season. It also marked the Wild’s first 5-on-3 goal this season.

RW Pierre-Marc Bouchard netted an unassisted goal, his second goal of the season, and first in 10 games since Nov. 3. Bouchard has 40 points (11-29=40) in 41 career games against Edmonton – 11 more points than he has versus any other NHL team. The Wild fell to 42-6-4 in the last 52 games in which Bouchard scores a goal, dating back to Dec. 23, 2006.

C Mikko Koivu posted an assist giving him a four-game point streak (2-4=6), tied for the longest point streak by a Wild player this season. Koivu leads the Wild with 16 points (3-13=16) this season.

G Josh Harding made 24 saves and lost as a starter at Xcel Energy Center for the first time since Oct. 30, 2008.

Minnesota is 13-1-0 when allowing two goals or less, and 0-5-3 when yielding three or more. The Wild allowed more than three goals in a home game for just the second time this season.

The Wild dropped to 13-4-2 against the Western Conference.

With the Oilers winning in St. Paul, the longest active home win streak by one team over another is Dallas over Minnesota (14), according to Elias Sports Bureau.

The Wild has played at home the day after Thanksgiving every season, going 7-3-1.
