HOUSTON AEROS (11-3-6, 28 pts, 2nd in West Division) – The Aeros went 1-0-1 last week, losing 2-1 in a shootout vs. Texas (11/25) before winning at Texas 4-2 the following night (11/26). LW Joel Broda scored two goals at Texas, while RW Casey Wellman had two assists on the night. Wellman ranked seventh in the AHL in goals before being recalled to Minnesota (11/28). G Matt Hackett played both games, stopping a combined 57 shots, including 33 in the win at Texas. He moved into eighth in the league with a 2.19 GAA and tenth with a .926 SV%. Houston has a busy week ahead with four straight road games. The team plays tonight (11/30) at Lake Erie, Friday (12/2) at Rochester, Saturday (12/3) at Toronto and Tuesday (12/6) at San Antonio before returning to Houston for a four-game homestand.

Canadian Hockey Leagues
LW Brett Bulmer - Kelowna (WHL): The 2010 second round pick has been invited to Canada's National Junior Team Selection Camp. Since starting the season in Minnesota and being reassigned to Kelowna, Bulmer has racked up 15 points (6-9=15) in 10 games and is a +6.
D Josh Caron - Kamloops (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing has picked up six assists through 20 games and leads his team with 88 penalty minutes. He is a +9 on the season.
C Tyler Graovac - Ottawa (OHL): The seventh round pick (191st overall) in the 2011 Draft has put up 12 points (4-8=12) in 16 games thus far this season. Earlier in the month, he represented Team OHL in the 2011 SUBWAY Super Series.
D Colton Jobke - Regina (WHL): The 2010 free agent has put up nine points on four goals and five assists in 25 games. He is a +1 on the year.
C Zack Phillips - Saint John (QMJHL): The first round pick (28th overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft was selected along with Bulmer to attend Canada's National Junior Evaluation Camp. He has notched at least one point in each of the last 20 games dating back to October 14. He leads his team in scoring with 48 points (16-32=48) in just 27 games. He is also a +30.
C Charlie Coyle - Boston University (Hockey East): San Jose's first round pick in 2010 (28th overall) leads BU with nine assists in 12 games. He's also tallied two goals and leads the team with a +9 rating.
C Anthony Hamburg - Omaha (USHL): The seventh round pick (193rd overall) in the 2009 Draft has notched a goal and five assists through 15 games.
LW Erik Haula - Minnesota (WCHA): The seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 upped his point total over the weekend to 21 (8-13=21) in 16 games. He ranks second on the Gophers in scoring and tied for sixth in the nation.
D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) in 2008 upped his point total to eight (2-6=8) over the weekend with a pair of assists. He is a +3 on the season.
LW Mario Lucia - Penticton (BCHL): Second round pick (60th overall) in 2011 Draft represented the United States Junior Select Team at the World Junior A Challenge. Team USA earned a bronze medal with Lucia posting four goals and an assist in five games. He's tied for third in the BCHL in scoring with 40 points (17-28=40) in 22 games played.
D Nick Seeler - Muskegon (USHL): Fifth round pick (131st overall) in 2011 has put up six points (2-4=6) through 16 games in his first USHL season.
F Jason Zucker - Denver (WCHA): Second round pick (59th overall) in 2010 Draft ranks second on the team in scoring with 17 points, and assists with 11. He has put up two goals and five assists over his current five-game point streak.
D Jonas Brodin - Farjestads BK Karlstad (Sweden): The first round selection (10th overall) in the 2011 Draft owns three assists in 26 games and is a +5.
F Mikael Granlund - HIFK Helsinki (Finland): The first round selection (ninth overall) in 2010 leads his team in scoring and assists with 30 points (10-20=30) in 24 games. He is a +12 on the season.
D Bjorn Krupp - Cologne (Germany): The 2009 free agent signing has notched four assists through 21 games.
RW Johan Larsson - Brynas (Sweden): The second round selection (56th overall) in the 2010 Draft has put up six goals and 12 assists for 18 points in 25 games. He ranks second on the team in scoring and assists.
Dennis Endras - HIFK (Finland): Played six games with Houston of the AHL, going 3-2-1 before being assigned to HIFK in the Finnish League.
Johan Gustafsson - Lulea HF (Sweden): The sixth round pick (159th overall) in the 2010 Draft ranks fourth in the League with a .926 save percentage and third with a 1.80 goals against average.
Stephen Michalek - Harvard (ECAC): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in 2011 is 3-2-1 as a freshman with Harvard and owns a 3.02 goals against average and a .898 save percentage.
