Vote On Last Week\'s Top Plays

Last year, wanted help from our fans in the State of Hockey and beyond to help us select the Top Play of the Year. To do so, we needed you to pick the Top Plays each week, so we could pit them against each other in the offseason in a single-elimination tournament. We had so much fun, we're going to do it again this year.

In Week 8, it was Pierre-Marc Bouchard's goal that took the top honors. Bouchard picked the pocket of rookie sensation Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and then finished with a flourish on Nikolai Khabibulin.
This week, the Wild won all four games it played, making the decision process on selecting Top Play candidates a tough one. We did our best and now it's up to the fans to pick from the three choices.

There was Niklas Backstrom making a remarkable pad stop to deny Tampa Bay star, Steve Stamkos. Kyle Brodziak continued his stellar week with a never-say-die goal on future Hall of Famer, Martin Brodeur. And then there's last week's winner, Bouchard, coming in again with another pretty play - a no-look backhand shot to the far side:
