Kyle Brodziak had the chance to put up the top play for the third week in a row, but his goal was thwarted by Mikko Koivu's game-tying goal set up by Cal Clutterbuck.
Last week didn't feature a ton of offense for the good guys who dropped three road games. There was some good defense though that helped prevent some goals. We do have one offensive display provided by Pierre-Marc Bouchard, who coming off a facial injury, got his nose dirty to bury a rebound against Calgary. Not long after that score, Jared Spurgeon prevented a Flames goal by throwing his body into the crease to help out Josh Harding. Finally, Nik Backstrom gets in contention with his snuff out of Taylor Hall's penalty shot attempt:
