Post-Game Notes vs. Vancouver - Feb. 9
LW Daniel Sedin and C Henrik Sedin each scored a goal against Minnesota for the first time ever, as the Vancouver Canucks defeated the Wild 5-2 at Xcel Energy Center. G Cory Schneider made 21 saves for Vancouver.

LW Dany Heatley scored a team-record 13 seconds into the game, and RW Devin Setoguchi added a PPG and an assist for Minnesota, which began a four-game homestand that continues Saturday against Columbus. The Wild plays 18 of its final 29 games at Xcel Energy Center, starting tonight.

RW Dany Heatley scored 13 seconds into the game – the fastest goal by a Wild player ever to begin a game. Matt Johnson held the old record of 21 seconds on March 23, 2003, in a 4-0 win over Detroit that clinched a playoff spot. Heatley has five goals in seven games, including four in the last three home games. Eleven of his 18 goals have been the Wild’s first goal. Minnesota is 12-4-1 when Heatley scores a goal. Heatley leads the Wild with 39 points (18-21=39).

RW Devin Setoguchi scored his 11th goal of the season – fifth on the power play. He added an assist for his third two-point game this season.

C Mikko Koivu returned after missing eight games due to injury. The Wild is 22-14-6 with Koivu in the lineup, and 3-7-2 without him.

After Setoguchi’s goal, the Wild is now 1-for-16 on the power play versus the Canucks this season. Minnesota is 12-8-2 when scoring a PPG, and 13-13-6 when not.

Canucks LW Daniel Sedin scored a goal and added an assist, giving him 13 points (4-9=13) in a seven-game point streak versus Minnesota.

Tonight marked the first time both Sedin brothers have scored in the same game against the Wild. They have a combined 27 goals versus Minnesota.

Vancouver has outscored its opponents 61-34 in the first period, including 2-1 tonight.

The Wild became the first home team to score first against Vancouver in the Canucks’ last 12 road games.
