Vote On Last Week\'s Top Plays

Last year, wanted help from our fans in the State of Hockey and beyond to help us select the Top Play of the Year. To do so, we needed you to pick the Top Plays each week, so we could pit them against each other in the offseason in a single-elimination tournament. We had so much fun, we're going to do it again this year.

Last week, Devin Setoguchi had two of the three plays that were nominated, and sure enough, it was one of his goals that took top honors. Of course, a lot of the credit has to go to Mikko Koivu, who made a perfect pass to set up the tally.
The Wild finished off this past week with a big win over the Boston Bruins, and two of our nominees this week will come from that game. But Setoguchi has another goal in contention, and once again it comes after a perfect setup from Koivu. He'll be up against Eden Prairie's Chad Rau, who fooled Tim Thomas by looking off Marco Scandella before going top cheese. And then there was Niklas Backstrom, who put up 48 saves in the win over Boston, but his robbery of Milan Lucic's shot was easily his best:
