Traffic Reminder For Saturday, March 17
The Minnesota Wild remind fans to arrive early and leave plenty of time for this Saturday’s 1:00 p.m. game against the Carolina Hurricanes at Xcel Energy Center. Downtown St. Paul is expected to be extremely crowded due to the 12:00 p.m. St. Patrick’s Day Parade, in addition to Wild game, and fans in town for the 7:00 p.m. Red Baron WCHA Final Saturday night as well.
The following roads will be closed from approximately 11:40 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday: 5th Street between 7th and Washington; Washington between 6th and Kellogg; Market between 5th and Kellogg; 4th between Washington and St. Peter; St. Peter between 7th and 6th; Wabasha between 6th and Kellogg; Cedar between 6th and 4th; Minnesota between 6th and Kellogg; Jackson between 6th and Kellogg; Sibley between 6th and Kellogg; Wacouta Between 6th and Kellogg; Broadway between 6th and Kellogg. A complete parade map is available at Shepard Road also will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon.
