Mayor Coleman Proclaims North Stars Weekend

The State of Hockey’s love affair with the game started at the NHL level with the Minnesota North Stars.
In dedication to this history, Saint Paul Mayor Chris Coleman will proclaim March 29-31 as North Stars Alumni Weekend on Wednesday, March 28 at 2:30 p.m. at Tom Reid’s Hockey City Pub.
The event is free and open to the public.
Come out and meet some of your favorite North Stars as several former players are scheduled to be in attendance, including Don Beaupre, Steve Dowling, Dave Langevin, Dan Mandich, Brad Maxwell, Bob Paradise, JP Parise, Tom Reid, Gordie Roberts and Carl Wetzel.
Tom Reid’s Hockey City Pub is located at 258 7th St W, Saint Paul, just south of Xcel Energy Center.
The Wild hosts Minnesota North Stars Night on Thursday, March 29 against the Florida Panthers at 7 p.m. More than 30 Minnesota North Stars alumni are scheduled to be in attendance and will participate in a variety of activities throughout the evening.
The team also announced a special Minnesota North Stars Night ticket package for March 29. The ticket package includes a RBC Wealth Management Club Level end ticket, a limited edition North Stars “Back on Home Ice” t-shirt and admission to a North Stars autograph session with scheduled alumni featuring Neal Broten, Lou Nanne, Steve Payne and JP Parise from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. A limited number of Minnesota North Stars Night tickets are available to purchase for $90.
