NHL Draft Lottery Tonight

The Minnesota Wild will find out where it will pick during the 2012 NHL Entry Draft tonight at the NHL Draft Lottery.
Clubs in the Draft Lottery cannot move up more than four positions in draft order. This means only Clubs with the opportunity to receive the first overall selection are the five teams with the lowest regular-season point totals. Also, no team can move down more than one position as a result of the Draft Lottery.
Minnesota earned 81 regular-season points and finished in the 24th spot in the league. If Minnesota wins the lottery it will select third overall. If a team in the eight through 11 spot wins the lottery, the Wild would drop to the eighth pick.
The Draft Lottery will air on NBC Sports Network at 7 p.m. CST.
NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly will reveal the order of selection for the top picks in the 2012 NHL Draft.

Columbus Blue Jackets - 25.0%
Edmonton Oilers - 18.8%
Montreal Canadiens - 14.2%
New York Islanders - 10.7%
Toronto Maple Leafs - 8.1%
Anaheim Ducks - 6.2%
Minnesota Wild - 4.7%
Carolina Hurricanes - 3.6%
Winnipeg Jets - 2.7%
Tampa Bay Lightning - 2.1%
Washington Capitals* - 1.5%
Buffalo Sabres - 1.1%
Dallas Stars - 0.8%
Calgary Flames - 0.5%
The 2012 NHL Draft will take place at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh. The first round will take place on Friday, June 22 commencing at 7 p.m. ET and the subsequent rounds (two through seven) will begin at 10 a.m. ET Saturday, June 23.
* - Colorado traded its 2012 first-round pick to Washington (G Semyon Varlamov from Washington to Colorado for the Avalanche's 2012 first round pick and a second round pick in either 2012 or 2013).
